Week 1, Monday

[ near the luna market, after some guys just exploded. ]

I think maybe we should stay far away from the fireworks.

You're telling me. Must have been one hell of a firework if it took someone out.

[ he isn't sure if he is impressed at the fireworks or that there are people more dumb than he is ]

... Guess even a medium-sized one can be serious trouble if it hits you square in the head like that. Man, that freaked me out...

I missed most of it, yo. Some bald dude was taking off from the scene.

Week 1, Thursday

[kirubeam]

[ after getting patched up, kiruko's changed into a sweater and sweatpants and is lying on a couch in the hotel lobby with an ice pack tiredly applied to a very swollen cheek.

how's nine doing... is he resting too ]

[ kiruko looks cozy!

while he is cleaned and patched up, he's not exactly resting. he's standing around and leaning on things or pacing. oh yeah, his arm is in a sling because it's still tender ]

You feeling alright?

[kirubeam]

Feel like garbage, mostly.

[ but well enough to reply, at least. and to attempt to sit up a little more to look at him. ]

Feeling like I need to hit something but... [ looking at bandaged knuckles and his arm ]

That ain't happening any time soon.

Week 1, Saturday

[kirubeam]

[ just outside the hotel, looking out at the mostly-empty street. gun is safely holstered again. kiruko just has kind of a dark expression. ]

[linearcrash]

[ that sure was a long day over someone thinking they can bargain with death. he's going to approach when he spots them. ]

Are you feeling alright?

[kirubeam]

[ looks up. quickly rubs face. ]

Yeah. Yeah... I'm good.

You?

[linearcrash]

You know me, I'm always good, yo.

[ he's way too used to people dying or killing ]

Are you going to talk to her?

week 2, monday

[linearcrash]

[ nine is just in the natura biome, just petting one of the chocobos. he will give a wave to kiruko, start to open his mouth before slapping a hand over it.

nothing to see here ]

[kirubeam]

[ looks at the chocobo. looks at him. raises an eyebrow. ]

[ shaking his head. ]

[ whoops! he's hecked up and is going to feel like something is kicking his ass.]

Dammit! Okay okay! Woof woof!

[kirubeam]

Uh-huh. Woof-woof.

[ tiredly returns this greeting. then comes over to hang out with nine and the... what are these? gives the birds a weird look. ]

What's this? Some kind of ostrich?

[ kiruko has definitely never seen an ostrich before, either. ]

Week 2, Friday

[ kiruko can be seen getting some fancy-ass bunny-eared parfait at the bnuuy cafe. ]

[linearcrash]

[ he's munching on some of the macarons when he spots kiruko. coming over to see the parfait ]

Hey, that's kind of cute.

[kirubeam]

Right? I almost feel bad for sticking a spoon in its head and eating it.

[linearcrash]

Almost. That's probably the best part, yo.

week 2, saturday

[linearcrash]

[ they are now locked in a casino and hotel. ]

Man, my head hurts. We keep waking up to a new place each time.

[kirubeam]

Seriously...

We're still alive, so I guess we won? It better not turn out that we're still in the middle of some stupid game...

We did hear an alarm, right? That annoying as hell sound when we all woke up. That's supposed to be the end according to the owl.

[kirubeam]

Yeah... It's just kinda hard to trust anything, at this point.

[ looks around appraisingly... ]

... Oh well. Might as well start looting.
